New York City’s Antigone Rising, an all female group blowing out gritty, country-influenced roots rock, premieres their new music video, “That Was The Whiskey,” today on CMT.com. The video premieres as part of CMT.com’s Independents Day series, which is a Tuesday online series highlighting the best in independent country music.
“That Was The Whiskey” was co-written with Nashville songwriter Lori McKenna (Faith Hill, Little Big Town, Hunter Hayes) and features buzzing guitars and barroom drama.
